David Kim, Ph.D, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Austin Peay State University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Louisville (May 2023). His research areas of interest are comparative policing, citizens’ perception of the police, community policing, police behavior, and fear of crime. His research has been published in the American Journal of Criminal Justice, Crime and Justice, International Journal of Law, Crime and Justice, International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology, Police Science and Management, Police Practice and Research: An International Journal, and Social Science Quarterly.
